While attending UC Santa Cruz, he joined Haluan- a competitive collegiate dance troupe. He eventually joined Funkanometry SF during his last year of college, where he had the opportunity to share his dancing and choreography in prestigious showcases such as Vibe, Body Rock, and The Sock Hop.”

Experienced in house, afro and other groove base styles, he now lives in LA surviving as a professional dancer working for artist like Justin Beiber, Daft Punk, Pharrell, and No doubt.

Karla Garcia was in the top seven females of FOX’s So You Think You Can Dance, season 5. She’s performed in the Broadway shows West Side Story, Hot Feet, Wicked, and Addams Family. In 2010, Karla traveled Australia with Rasta Thomas’ Bad Boys of Dance company performing in Rock the Ballet as a female lead. She has danced on VH1 Divas Live and the Comedy Awards behind Jordin Sparks and Lonely Island. Karla can also be seen on season 2 of NBC’s SMASH as a regular “Hitlist dancer.”
